Esquesing Historical Society is a group of people interested in local, regional, provincial and nationwide history. Our meetings are generally free to the public. We meet monthly except for July, August and December. Come out and be part of yesterday’s past today.

ArchivesThe Esquesing Historical Society maintains a wonderful archives at the Georgetown branch of the Halton Hills Public Libraries. We collect any documents, photographs, ephemera, newspapers and post cards related to Esquesing Township or to the people who lived here. To search our Archives, visit Halton Images and search for the item or people or place you are looking for. The results will include photographs, newspaper references, Tweedsmuir History references, EHS newsletter references and Archival Finding Aid references. Although references for all of Halton will appear, narrow your search by selecting Esquesing Historical Society on the right hand side of the first results page. To see the documents or photographs listed in the Archives, visit the Archives during regular Library hours. Please contact the Society by e-mail with your questions. esquesinghs@gmail.com EHS volunteers will search for items for you however there will be a cost. An additional cost will be incurred if postage is required.
